As you all know, it's the beginning of a new year. Not just a new year, but a new you. Theres no time like the present, so this post will give you reviews, news and tips to make a perfect (and fashionable) entrance into 2011.
Firstly, wardrobe. We all know that every January brings with it a very important 's' word...SALES! The post-christmas sales are the best of the year, and the perfect time to get your wardrobe looking fashionable and trendy. There are many simple trends going around at the moment, including the not-so-new but definately still in fashion florals. Floral dresses, floral skirts, floral jackets and floral shoes.....a fresh and catchy trend to embrace the summer while it's here. Paired with your favourite tan accessories, a perfect casual but trendy outfit for any occasion. A few items in the 'floral' catergory that im loving at the moment are....

'Daisy'EDT By Marc Jacobs-100ml $110
Floral lace up dress @ Bardot $89.95
Other trends at the moment are animal prints, leather, lace, cross body bags, studs, cropped tees and jumpsuits. Jumpsuits are my personal favourite at the moment, as they are cool, comfy, fashionable and there are so many different designs available. They are usually quite inexpensive and look great on....

Style by Lauren Conrad $20.00
Lastly, hair. Hair at the moment i've noticed is short and straight, or long and wavy. Height in both hair trends are also important to give the hair body and prevent from just hanging down sadly over your face. Two products used to achieve the body you want in your hair are a sea salt spray and a teasing brush. These are two handy products that are inexpensive and last a long time. Braids are back also, and are a great way to style your hair for any occasion, winter or summer...

Secondly, beauty. The main make-up look at the moment is the smokey eye. Made by blending colours, darkest at the outer corner, lightest at the inner, an easy and classy look made by using any colour you like. A beautiful summery perfume i'm loving at the moment is the SJP NYC by Sarah Jessica Parker. One great book to give you advice on fashion, beauty and hair is Style by Lauren Conrad retailed for $20.00.
